for my you-tubers

I have really missed my you tube days. I miss all of the relationships I made there, the support I received from friends and strangers alike; I miss helping others through sharing my story, and I miss the expression and release I got from consistently venting/sharing.

Due to lack of time, and well, serious body image issues, I just can't bring myself to record a video these days. BUT, I hope some of my peeps from you tube land, as well as from elsewhere will follow my blog here and find it as helpful as some have found my videos :)

Any topics you'd like me to speak on?

Lauren

  1. Hiiiii Lauren! It's Julia. I'm so excited that you're making a reappearance. Although I didn't have a baby, I feel like I share a lot of what you're going through recovery/weight wise. Not that I ever happy with my body or anything, but since I made a serious commitment to not resort to ED behavior a year+ ago (more like 2 now, I think), I've gained a shit load of weight. I guess the binging behaviors never really went away. So now I'm left to deal with trying to lose the weight in a healthy way (which I have yet to figure out...) Anyway, I would just love to be part of your journey to health, happiness, and finding comfort in your body. You're beautiful!

  2. Hi Lauren. I followed your videos on YouTube and I was very inspired by them. I loved hearing about your progress and was happy to hear when you were doing well! Congratulations on your baby girl! I am looking forward to this blog because I just recently had a baby too (my daughter is 6 months old!) and I would love to hear about how motherhood is going for you. Maybe we can share stories and stuff, because I can definitely relate to the lack of time when there is a baby to take care of. Maybe you starting your blog will be motivation for me to go back to mine again, haha.

I hope you are doing well and I look forward to hearing from you here. :)

  3. Hey Lauren.

My name is Chris Malinowski. I dont think I've ever commented on any of your YouTube videos but I stumbled across your YouTube channel when I was doing some research onthe topic of Dysthymic Disorder and have been following your story ever since. I wish you the best of luck with your child and know that you will eventually find someone awesome who loves and cares for you. I know that it can be toxic to your body image to have grown up in someplace like California, and I'm sorry to hear about your body image issues. Just realize that with where you are it makes perfect sense to feel a stress on your image and keep trying no matter what is all the advice I can give

You wanted us to post some ideas of what you'd like us to hear you talkabout. I have two requests. The first is, do you know of any blog or YouTube channels that are good on the subject of depression? And the second is, could you share what lessOns you have learned during treatment both through professional help and through personal relizations? I think those will help others who read your blOng and follow you the most. Other than that, keep on trying. I know you'll end up where you want to be someday. So keep trying.

  5. Hey Lauren, my name is Tori. I've watched many of your YouTube videos, and can relate to almost all of them. They're awesome, by the way. :) I was just wondering- provided you aren't busy with your daughter- if you could send a PM to my YouTube account: 94trab ? I have had an ED for almost 4 years, and am only now seeking treatment for it. I'm really struggling with it, and would love some support from you, because you've conquered it. Anyway, thanks for your videos and for this blog. You're amazing, and I truly admire you.
